I have been cleaning rugs for the past 14 years. We stared out by cleaning rug in our clients homes back in 2005. We then move don and cleaned them from our home. We moved into our first unit in 2007. Our rug cleaning business really started taking off in 2007/2008 when we purchased a centrifuge and a mobile rug duster. As the business grew we started seeing that a lot of our money was spent on in-efficient methods and mainly on labour. About 2 years ago we met Anna and Michael of Protima and we met them while they toured the UK where after we visited them in Poland. We were highly impressed by their operation and attention to detail as well as their quality machines. We purchased a large table duster from them to speed up our rug dusting process. We chose the dusted as we found out from those rug cleaners that use a tumble duster that the tumblers can case side cord damage to rugs and to use a tumble duster you have to be set up to carry out some repairs to rugs. We also have a slight limitation on space. We chose a table duster. It greatly increase in the quality of the rug cleaning as most of the dust got removed from rugs and if not it was easy to place it through the duster after the rugs was cleaned and dry to give it a final dusting. It is a sizable investment but I see it that if it was a small investment it will allow everyone to get on the band wagon and call themselves a rug cleaning expert. If you really look to stand out from the crowd I would highly recommend a visit to Protima in Poland. Get to know them and become a part of their „family”. Make the investment and you will not look back.
